An Enchanted Moment

We were finishing the last chapter of  "The House at Pooh Corner" today.  Well, it is an, um, emotional time of month for me, (if you get what I am saying), and I choked up and started crying on the last page.  Just got me in the heart, ya know?  Anyways, my Emmy comes over and rubs my face.  "That's okay, mom, I forgot most of the beginning stories, so we can always go back and reread them!"  She understands just how special Important Books can be.

Her first grade teacher

This morning, on her way into school, my daughter asked me what my teachers' names were when I was a kid.  I recounted them as best I could remember, "My first grade teacher was Mrs. So-and-so," etc, etc.  She interrupts me with the cutest smile on her face and says, "My first grade teacher is M. O. M!" 

How cute is that?!?
